Curation
For the curation, I decided to present my experiments as physical prints, taking into account advice from Andreas on incorporating acrylic elements to enhance the professionalism of the work. This approach not only adds a refined touch to the presentation but also provides an opportunity for me to revisit and engage with physical printing processes, creating a more tactile and impactful experience for the audience.
The publication was designed with a blurring effect on the cover, incorporating tracing paper as the cover to create a layered and obscured aesthetic. Using the materials I had on hand, I created a mock-up of the curation at home to visualize how the pieces could be arranged on a table for display. This allowed me to experiment with the layout and refine the presentation to ensure it effectively conveys the concept and engages the audience.
Overview for Semester
To be honest, I feel there’s still so much more I could have achieved with this project. However, I found myself caught in a constant cycle of going down rabbit holes. The expansive nature of AI as a topic made it challenging to stay focused, and tying together the experiments into a cohesive narrative proved to be a tough process. Ultimately, I plan to use the break to refine my structure and approach for Semester 2, ensuring a clearer direction moving forward. For the prototype, I feel it was somewhat rushed due to unforeseen circumstances that disrupted my momentum in the final weeks, which I aim to address with better planning in the next phase.
